What is StreamSign?
StreamSign is a cloud-based digital signage platform that lets you manage a fleet of display screens from a single dashboard. Upload content, build playlists, design multi-zone layouts, schedule what plays when, monitor device health in real-time, and leverage AI to generate and optimize content — all with enterprise-grade security.
How It Works
- Create your account — Sign up and set up your organization
- Upload content — Add images, videos, documents, or generate content with AI Studio
- Build playlists — Organize content into playlists with rotation and duration settings
- Design layouts — Optionally split your screens into multi-zone layouts
- Schedule — Create schedules to control what plays when on which screens
- Register players — Install the player app and activate it with a device key
- Monitor — Track player health, content performance, and analytics from the dashboard
Key Concepts
ContentAny media file (image, video, document, web page) you upload or generate for display.
PlaylistAn ordered collection of content items with rotation rules, durations, and transitions.
ScheduleA time-based rule that determines when a playlist plays on specific players.
LayoutA screen configuration that divides the display into zones, each showing different content.
PlayerA device (computer, smart TV, or browser) running the StreamSign player app to display content.
WidgetA real-time data component (clock, weather, RSS, KPI, etc.) that can be added to playlists.
